Patch 1.03 should be coming out sometime next week! Gatsby's new dialogue is mostly done, though might go through some tweaks in the future, and I am aiming to finish the missing scene from Baxter's route! And of course, there will be more bug fixes.

SO excited to say that the map now has placement markers for ALL locations that currently have gameplay!

My editor and I have also been hard at work drafting out the overarching story of St. Agatha, and have arranged it all into seven chapters that will be coming out once Chapter 0: Welcome to St. Agatha! leaves Beta. Here are the working titles!

Chapters so Far

Chapter 1. Zombie Lane

Covers Pixy’s first two weeks in St. Agatha. Includes the House Party and Carnival events, allows for first dates with the main nine love interests. Introduces the time cycle, an inventory system, phone calls, and other key gameplay features, as well as expands on the background cast, like your downstairs neighbors!

Chapter 2. Snaggletooth

First event arc! Internationally successful pop punk band, Snaggletooth, returns to their home city of St. Agatha to have a homecoming concert, and catch a breather before their next big tour. Conspiracy brews when a particular nosy tabloid reporter gets involved, and Pixy along with him.

Along the way, you can spend time with the main nine, and advance your potential romances, friendships, and/or rivalries with them. I have additional plans for mini events (like the House Party) to reward those who stick with the background stories - namely a Battle of the Bands plot line, and a Beach Bonfire event. These would be smaller, but very significant - with the first focusing on local bands Rocktopus and Jimmy Rabbit, letting Pixy pick an allegiance to either Eddie, Hadley, and Violet OR Connor, Axel, Buck, and Oswald - most of who will be introduced in Chapter One.

Chapter 3. St. Agatha City Hospital (working title!)

I am affectionately calling this the “calm before the storm” chapter. It’s going to introduce three additional main characters, and focus more on fleshing out the side cast, and set into place the final pieces of the puzzle before shit hits the fan. Because things really do get a lot darker, and the stakes much higher. Characters can and will die. I think I am most looking forward to working on this chapter.

Chapter 4. Echo and Eve (working title!)

Shit hits the fan. News comes in from Pixy’s hometown, the first character death occurs, and a murderer is supposedly stalking the streets of St. Agatha. Tensions run higher than what character you want to date.

You can still worry about that though. This is still very much a dating sim. Just be careful who you get close to.

Chapter 5. Poor George (working title!)

Resolution for the George plot line first brought up in Chapter 0. The Rutgers are also a heavy focus in this, as well as Ross’ backstory. Sets up the next chapter, which will also be dealing with a lot of the topics first discussed in the demo.

Who is this person that you've been travelling through St. Agatha with? All this time spent getting to the bottom of other people's problems, maybe it's time we find out what Pixy is running from.
